A woman who was body-slammed by a Popeyes employee last month in Tennessee, has spoken out about the 'nightmare' as she continues to recover at a hospital with multiple broken bones. Deborah Staggs, 56, was left with a broken arm in 16 places, nine broken ribs and a shattered knee cap after the early November incident. Video of the attack quickly went viral with the footage showing people chasing Staggs outside the restaurant. Online videos of the altercation show a woman walking out of the chicken joint with several employees in Popeyes uniforms quickly following her out.

Suddenly, one uniformed man can be seen raising the woman up in his arms before throwing her down to the ground. The man can be heard shouting at the wounded woman as he stands over here. Rocky McElhaney, an attorney for the victim, told the Nashville Tennessean that the woman underwent two surgeries as a result of the attack and will need months of rehabilitation.

When she returned home, she realized that she had been billed twice. The woman then called the manager who told her to come back with documentation in order to get a refund, her attorney said.

A viral video of a Popeyes employee body-slamming a woman outside a Tennessee restaurant has resulted in an arrest on Friday. A lawyer representing the victim, Debra Staggs, 55, said she was trying to get a refund after reportedly being double-charged for food, reports local TV station WSMV.

When she walked out of the store, an employee followed her, picked her up and slammed her into the parking lot, video shows. Staggs suffered nine fractures, six cracked ribs and a broken knee, WSMV reported. She has undergone multiple surgeries and is expected to have an extensive recovery.

You can hear the woman claiming that she has family that works for the law. After the woman finally decided to leave the establishment, she was pursued by several employees. One man grabbed her and body-slammed her to the ground viciously. The woman's attorney said the employee's actions weren't justified. The attorney also said the woman suffered nine fractures, including six broken ribs and a broken knee. Police arrested year-old Deriance Hughes, who faces aggravated assault charges.
